The Dawn of Rabbicats...

A long long time ago, on the Isle of Man, a rare breed of cats were born. Rabbicats.
Settlers brought over the domestic cat from sea, and they soon realized that the isle was not ordinary land.  It was built like a jungle gym!  Vines and trees twisted and winded all through out the isle and the cats kept getting caught! Their stupid long legs kept making them trip, and their stupid long tails kept getting caught in the vines!
Food also became a challenge for these cats.  There seemed to be a shortage of mice, moles, squirrels and chipmunks (the very delicious food that they gorged themselves on back home).  Instead, there was an over abundance of carrots! Over time the cats were forced to eat more and more carrots.  There must have been something special in those carrots because the more they ate, the more the cats started to evolve.
They became slightly smaller and more agile to better maneuver in the dense tangled woods.  Their front legs shrunk and their hind legs grew letting them hop over obstacles with ease!  Their long tail kept getting shorter until it was a cute little cottontail.  The cats stopped getting caught in the vines and became a much more nimble, cuter, smaller, better jumping cat. A Rabbicat.
The modern day Rabbicat spends her days hopping around fields of wildflowers, tossing around carrots like mice. She spends her nights cuddling, and will lick you until you both fall asleep.
